Julian Marshall is a british born photographer and artist born in Greenwich, London, to a family of artists. Both his parents attending Goldsmiths, his mother drawing Quentin Crisp at the Slade School of art, and both parents attending Goldsmiths college. The family environment was dominated by a bustling studio with printmaking and lithography nurturing a deep sense of the creative within the family, all of which work successfully within the creative industry.
After studying Law at University and a mini pupilage as a barrister at the London Bar Julian felt compelled to switch careers following his passion for photography and the arts. Julian was inspired by his fathers photography, driven to capture moments of timeless elegance and spontaneity.
Julian's work is honest and unpretentious, laced with humour and originality. Renowned for his exquisite light and ability to subtlety draw out the intimate nature and beauty of his subject, his work is sought by collectors and publication throughout the world.
